Installing skype in ubuntu 9.04
Download the DEB package
admin@smartproteam$ sudo dpkg -i getskype-linux-deb.deb
if dependencies are not available,install below dependencies
Type below command in terminal :
admin@smartproteam$ sudo apt-get install libasound2 1.0.12 libc6 libgcc1 libqt4-core libqt4-gui libsigc++-2.0-0c2a libstdc++6 libx11-6
To removing Skype
run below command to remove
admin@smartproteam$ sudo dpkg -r skype
