Run “sudo apt-get install google-earth” in terminal for ubuntu users

after download you find a file googleeath.x.x.x.bin file

change the permission to all excutable in the terminal

$chmod +x googleeath.x.x.x.bin

the run

$./googleeath.x.x.x.bin

after that you can find a icon at your desktop click on that
