changing from shockwave to Adobe flash player on ubuntu

To change from shockwave flash player from adobe flash player on ubuntu .

First you need to install adobe flash player manually.after wards you need to run below command.

flashplayerthe result like this

smartproteam@smartproteam:~$ sudo update-alternatives –config firefox-flashplug

There are 2 alternatives which provide `firefox-flashplugin’.

Selection    Alternative
———————————————–
+        1    /usr/lib/swfdec-mozilla/libswfdecmozilla.so
*         2    /usr/lib/adobe-flashplugin/libflashplayer.so

Press enter to keep the default[*], or type selection number:

now you need choose ‘2′ .thenpress enter.

you will get this message

Using ‘/usr/lib/adobe-flashplugin/libflashplayer.so‘ to provide ‘firefox-flashplugin‘.

after above step you need to logout or reboot your laptop,desktop or workstation.

    I don’t think that’s true. You only need to restart Firefox. Constantly having to reboot is a Windows phenomenon.
